Due to record hight temperatures of mid August 2026, several fishing clubs decided to lock-down the rivers for fly fishing, reducing the pressure on the fish population. But the latest rain and temperature drop, brings fly fishing back! Sava Bohinjka, Idrijca, Radovna, Sava, Sava Dolinka, Soca and most other fly fishing rivers of Slovenia are as today, August 24th open again for the fly fishing!
